Time Synchronisation
Accurate, Secure and Fully Synchronized Time Systems
Bodet Time's Netsilon NTP Time Server
High-Precision Network Time Synchronisation for Critical Environments.
The Bodet Netsilon NTP Time Server delivers secure, reliable, and highly accurate network time synchronisation across your entire organisation. Using Network Time Protocol (NTP), Netsilon ensures that all connected systems — including clocks, computers, access control systems, CCTV, and industrial equipment — display precisely the same time.
This makes it ideal for time-sensitive environments such as trading floors, security operations, transport networks, and air traffic control, where accuracy and consistency are essential.
- Secure Network Integration: Installed within your existing network firewall, ensuring full protection of your IT infrastructure. Advanced options include encryption, authentication, and secure access protocols.
- High Accuracy Time Distribution: Uses NTPv4 architecture with multi-source time references including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and IRIG signals to deliver extremely precise time synchronisation.
- Built for Reliability: Engineered for continuous operation with failover protection, including Quartz TCXO backup, signal redundancy, and fanless hardware design to minimise failure risk.
How the Netsilon System Works
The Netsilon Time Server receives a highly accurate external time signal via satellite (such as GPS) and distributes it across your organisation using your existing IP network. This enables unlimited-distance time distribution across multiple sites or buildings without loss of accuracy.
For devices that do not support Ethernet connectivity, alternative synchronisation outputs are available, including:
- IRIG
- AFNOR
- ASCII
- 1 Pulse Per Second (1 PPS)
- 10 MHz frequency output
To simplify installation, compatible devices such as clocks can be powered using Power over Ethernet (PoE), removing the need for separate mains power supplies. Where PoE is not available, external power adapters can be used.
Master Clock Systems
A master clock system is a centralised time control solution that distributes precise timing signals to all connected slave clocks across your organisation, ensuring consistent and synchronised time display throughout.
These systems are essential in environments where accurate timekeeping and event logging are critical, including financial institutions, hospitals, transport hubs, manufacturing facilities, and logistics operations.
Benefits of Master Clock Systems:
- Organisation-wide synchronised time across all clocks and devices
- Automatic time updates from trusted sources such as GPS or radio signals
- Simultaneous time distribution across wired and wireless networks
- Automatic adjustment for GMT and BST changes
- Compatibility with multiple time distribution protocols including NTP, impulse, wireless (DHF), and time code systems
- Ability to control connected systems such as lighting, heating, bell systems, and access control
- Automated scheduling of operational events across your infrastructure
